Biography
Dr Youyou Wu is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Kellogg School of Management and the Northwestern Institute for Complex Systems (NICO). She completed her PhD at the Psychometrics Centre in Cambridge in 2016, having been the recipient of the prestigious Jardine Foundation Scholarship Award. Her work focusses on the prediction of human behaviour from the trail they leave in the online world when they use social networks. Her particular interest is in a comparison between the ability of humans and computers to analyse personality, motivation and skills in order to make predictions about what a person will do. During Fall of 2014 she is an intern at Facebook Inc. in California.
Youyou graduated from Washington University in St Louis in 2012 and went on to achieve her Master's degree in Social and Developmental Psychology at the University of Cambridge in 2013
