Thu 31 Jan 16:00: A methodology to ontologically qualify latent Worldview factors in legal texts

A methodology to ontologically qualify latent Worldview factors in legal texts

The seminar will explore the feasibility of characterising latent factors that affect how language is presented in written texts. The premise being that a persons Worldview is reflected in the manner in which they write. This Worldview being characterised not as utilitarian, consequentialist or deontological etc., nor as politically Left or Right etc, but rather as representations of a writer’s own implicit perception of orthogonal factors that in congress describe to the person holding them how the World functions.
