Biography
Josip currently works as Head of the Psychometrics Unit at the National Centre for External Evaluation of Education in Zagreb, Croatia. He spent 3 months at the Centre in 2013-14, during which time he expanded his knowledge of Item Response Theory and Computer Adaptive Testing whilst contributing a wealth of experience in running advanced statistical analyses to the team's ongoing research projects.
Josip is expected to complete his PhD programme in Psychology at the University of Zagreb in 2014, focusing on developing a confirmatory approach to examining the gender differences in mathematical problem-solving performance. In addition to mathematical assessment, Josip's research interests include language testing, improving fairness through item design and differential item and bundle functioning.
He enjoys literature, travelling and playing the guitar.
