Who should attend?

This intense seminar is tailored for analysts or managers at all levels who are currently working in or planning to develop People Analytics functions. Leaders of these functions will profit from the course by learning more about the technical aspects and team members will get insights into strategic matters. Examples of delegates for whom the Academy is tailored includes:

  • Chief Human Resources Officers or Heads of People Analytics functions, who want to optimize their teams, understand best practices, increase their quantitative skills and align their function with overall corporate strategy.
  • Project managers in People Analytics functions, who want to increase their Big Data capabilities, improve the alignment of their projects with corporate strategy, or better coordinate their available project resources.
  • Members of People Analytics or consultancy teams, who want to acquire new skills, for example analysts to learn about strategy, or generalists to learn about analytics.
  • Members of works councils, labour unions or other professional bodies, who want to be better able to judge the opportunities and dangers of People Analytics implementation for the workforce, and the practical aspects of running such projects.

The objective is to gather skills that can be applied directly in daily practice or during the setup of a new function. The pace of teaching will be fast but supportive, and there will be plenty of opportunities for group work and networking, to facilitate the exchange of best practices in a relaxed Cambridge setting. The last day will be spent working through a Capstone project in which the skills learned over the programme will be put into practice. All delegates will receive a branded certificate of attendance signed by the course instructors at the end of the programme. Lunch will be provided at a Cambridge college.
