Structural Equation Modelling
This course is now FULLY BOOKED
Join us for an accompanied tour of Structural Equation Modelling. This 2.5-day workshop will give you conceptual understanding of SEM framework as well as interactive hands-on experience in modelling real data. Practical sessions will be using powerful software Mplus with examples from a diverse range of psychometric applications.
The course will cover: general SEM framework and basic concepts; Mplus
modelling framework; and then build up from multiple
regression (including categorical data); measurement models (CFA and
EFA, including categorical data); path analysis; to more
complex structural models. Both means and covariance structures will be
considered.
The course receives funding from the ESRC under its Researcher Development Initiative in Applied Psychometrics, hence the heavily discounted rates for academic staff and postgraduate students.
Attendees should bring their own laptops, with the base version of Mplus installed (see www.statmodel.com).We have several laptops with Mplus that can be borrowed - please let us know in advance if you need one.
