The Psychometrics Centre provides a unique resource to anyone developing, researching, producing, choosing or using tests.
These include:
- Concerto: an open source on-line adaptive testing platform that brings high quality inexpensive adaptability to the world of on-line testing - for both research and business. You can use it for traditional tests, too!
- Preference: the ultimate online Audience Intelligence tool that enables users to link persons and objects in the online world.
- Training in psychometrics and statistics. We run a variety of courses, including the British Psychological Society' Certificates in Occupational Test Use (formerly A and B), ESRC funded workshops in modern research methods, and IRT and CAT training utilizing the Concerto platform.
- The myPersonality Facebook App allows its users to take real psychometric tests and receive valuable feedback. Academic researchers can apply for an access to our database of 6,000,000+ detailed psycho-demographic profiles.
- Let us help you develop, translate or standardise your tests. The Psychometrics Centre offers services to both aspiring and established UK and international test publishers in all areas of assessment: educational, clinical and occupational.
- Other consultancy services. We provide a wide range of services to both companies and individuals on assessment issues, providing advice, writing reports, analysing data and advising on best practice.
