Dr Anna Brown
Anna Brown is lecturer in Psychological Methods and Statistics at the University of Kent, and formerly Research Associate at the University of Cambridge.
Anna was teaching short courses in Applied Psychometrics at the Psychometrics Centre between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, she conducted research and test development at the Research
division of SHL Group, where she had been Principal Research Statistician for
many years.
Anna's projects included development of an item response model
for forced-choice response formats (the Thurstonian IRT model), and the
development of a new version of Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ32r). Her work on the Thurstonian IRT model received the 2011 Psychometric Society Dissertation Award.
