Terri Chan specializes in Marketing Psychology and is currently registered for a PhD in this field at the University of Hong Kong (UHK). She completed her MPhil in Social and Developmental Psychology at the University of Cambridge in June 2011. In 2008, She was awarded her BSc in Social Science with 1st Class Honours from the University of Hong Kong in 2008. Her degree focused on industrial and engineering psychology, management and research methods. After graduating, Terri worked with Professors Yim and Tse in the School of Business Studies at HKU as a Research Assistant in Service Marketing, managing seminars and workshops through the Illinois-HKU Global Business Forum.
Terri enjoys organizing and planning events, having been Assistant Event Organizer for the Wedding Services Expo and Gfoto Studio in 2008, as well as being responsible for promoting the companys' plan and handling requests. She has also worked as an event database manager and researcher at Egon Zender International and was an Enumerator for the Hong Kong Population Bi-census in 2006.
As well as being fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, Terri is an accomplished musician and pianist (Grade 7, Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music). She is enthused by drawing, painting and art appreciation and takes pleasure in traveling and experiencing different cultures.
